Silica Exposure Control — Practical Assessment

SSP-SIM-08 · Practical Competency Assessment

Silica Exposure Control

Nine stations set on an interior concrete renovation — 340 linear feet of slab cutting, 40 core penetrations, and column grinding. You are the designated competent person. Stations cover task identification, Table 1 versus exposure assessment, water delivery verification, dust collection adequacy, respiratory protection and fit, access control for non-task personnel, housekeeping method, medical surveillance triggers, and the written Exposure Control Plan.

Practice mode is untimed and coached. Assessment mode is 10 minutes, scored, pass mark 80%, and five critical safety errors end the attempt immediately. A printable competency record is generated on completion. Nothing is stored on our servers.
